Experiment objective

This trial is not intended to prove that aeroponics is “advanced.” It asks three practical questions:

  1. Can the root system grow steadily?
  2. Can the misting system operate reliably over time?
  3. What yield can one actual crop cycle produce?

Design parameters

  • Tower height: 2.0 m
  • Tower outside diameter: 160 mm
  • Design capacity: 48 plant sites
  • Structure: 8 levels × 6 openings
  • Offset between adjacent levels: 30°
  • Current phase: MVP / part of the two-tower engineering validation

Planned records

This experiment will continuously record:

  • transplanting date
  • harvest date
  • surviving plants
  • total yield
  • plant weight
  • water use
  • energy use
  • EC / pH
  • pressure
  • light
  • number of failures
  • downtime
  • nutrient and consumable cost

Decision rule

All conclusions will be based on measured results.

If performance falls short, the failed record will remain public instead of being deleted or reframed.

Current status

The system is still being assembled and validated.

Real cultivation data will be added after the experiment begins.

EXPERIMENT SCOPE

Objectives

  1. 01Verify whether the root system can grow steadily
  2. 02Verify whether the misting system can operate reliably over time
  3. 03Measure the actual yield of one crop cycle
